The Geta Tray is inspired by Japanese decoration trays, where the platform is elevated above the table surface, highlighting a specific object or decoration piece. The name is a reference to the classic Japanese Geta shoes with two prongs. It is cast in solid fiber concrete to add a certain heaviness, while also creating a unique and refined texture. This oak serving board is perfect for serving tapas, charcuterie or cheese. This large Japanese Wood Board is a beautiful and simple tray with a Nordic and minimalistic look. Supreme when used to serve fresh fruit, desserts or a classic piece of Danish pastry. 
We love the way that the two different directions of the oak wood meet in this design. The board stands on two oak surfaces that elevates the main cutting surface from the table. The floating expression makes it easy to lift up the serving tray from the table when serving – but it also provides an airy and easy look.

Care
To maintain the beauty of the Contour Bowl, when cleaning it with water use warm water and mild dish soap and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or steel wool, as they can scratch the surface. To remove fingerprints or smudges, gently polish the bowl with a microfiber cloth. Avoid exposing the bowl to harsh chemicals or prolonged contact with acidic foods.

The bowl is one of the latest relaunches in the Stoff Nagel collection. Back in the 1960s, when the bowl first saw the light of day, it was designed as an ashtray, but today it has several other design features. It invites you to be even more creative by combining it with other Stoff Nagel designs and adding taper candles. Fill it with seasonal decorations such as Easter eggs or small necessities or leave it empty for a simple and clean look.

Cleaning and maintenance:
This product does not require much maintenance. However you may need to clean it from time to time to remove candle drips and dust. If you get stains from candles, you can remove candle drips by placing the bowl in hot water with a drop of detergent until wax softens. Avoid using any polish or acid as this will ruin the protective layer on the product. Finish by wiping with a dry, soft cloth.

This special piece is made of solid brass and will patinate over a period of time. You can easily remove candle drips and yellow oxidation by placing the bowl in hot water with a bit of citric acid and a drop of detergent. After removing drips you can polish your brass bowl with brass polish to remove oxidation or small spots and bring back the shiny look.
