In 1948, furniture designer Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen founded Møbelintarsia. Today, his granddaughter Nanna Aakjær has re-founded the company, whose vision is to continue the legacy from the Danish golden age of furniture combined with today's trends and traditions. Rather than focusing on fleeting trends, Intarsia Furniture takes a holistic approach to interior design, offering high-quality furniture ranges that are created to be part of a larger whole and last for generations to come.

Jørgen Aakjær's work extends far beyond the collection today. They are still discovering new designs of his that they want to relaunch in the near future.

The coffee table No. 25 was designed in the 1960s by Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen. No.25 has a beautiful magazine shelf in reed, which with its characteristic look, gives the home lots of charm and a contemporary look. No. 25 is a beautiful example of how French wicker goes perfectly with the organic interior design trend of the time – without compromising on stylish design.
