In 1948, furniture designer Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen founded Møbelintarsia. Today, his granddaughter Nanna Aakjær has re-founded the company as Aakjaer Furniture and whose vision is to continue the legacy from the Danish golden age of furniture combined with today's trends and traditions. Rather than focusing on fleeting trends, Aakjaer Furniture takes a holistic approach to interior design, offering high-quality furniture ranges that are created to be part of a larger whole and last for generations to come.

Jørgen Aakjær's work extends far beyond the collection today. They are still discovering new designs of his that they want to relaunch in the near future.

Surf Table is a minimalist piece of furniture, designed by Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen and dates from the late 1960s. The oval table top and slender legs give the table an elegant look that goes well with a modern home. The Surf Table is completely unique with its versatility, as a classic coffee table, but also particularly suitable as a console or window furniture in the modern home with panoramic windows. As a console table, the Surf Table is perfect for displaying books, artwork and small personal objects in interiors.

As is characteristic of Jørgen Aakjær Jørgensen's many other pieces of furniture, the Surf Table has a nice thin, solid oak edge that creates a beautiful finish, and the beautiful veneer wood that adds a calm expression to the table. This timeless piece of furniture exudes impeccable craftsmanship.

Surf Table is available in variants such as white oiled oak, smoked oak, and natural oil.
