A compact padded lounge chair with a distinctive wooden side panel and elegant textile upholstery that combines pure, durable raw materials and soft ergonomic shapes. The high-quality textile has detailed visible stitching on both the back and front of the seat.

Block Lounge Chair is perfect for small spaces as well as large open settings. Form & Refine and Herman Studio cocreated the Block Lounge Chair for the Cabinetmakers’ Autumn Exhibition 2022 in Copenhagen.

The chair is upholstered with the classic woolen textile Hallingdal 65 in an updated color scale and a traditional pattern. The Hallingdal wool textile adds comfort and tactility to the cubic shape of the Block Lounge Chair. The upholstered seat cushion is snugly fitted to the frame with softly rounded edges. The textile Hallingdal 65, 0227, was developed in partnership with Kvadrat.

The fine linen canvas features detailed visible knitting and stitching on both the back and front of the seat. The Block Lounge Chair is perfect for small spaces as well as large open areas with repetitive outlines. Form & Refine and Herman Studio created the Block Lounge Chair together for the Cabinetmakers’ Autumn Exhibition 2022 in Copenhagen. The Zero textile is an elegant and irregular bouclé upholstery fabric.

Boucle means it is woven from yarn that is looped and produces a knobbly effect. The pearl-effect yarn used as both warp and weft gives a luxurious handle and a sophisticated appearance. The colorway is a unique contrasting ‘salt and pepper’ combination. The textile Zero, 004, was developed in partnership with Kvadrat.
