Møbel Copenhagen is a furniture studio founded in 2016 by Sara Agersborg in Copenhagen. Møbel celebrates the classic design virtues – craftsmanship, functionalism and honest materials – but insists on being bold, looking forward and offering furniture designed for today and for the days to come: The classics of tomorrow. By bridging the Danish design tradition and innovation – Møbel creates designs that display curiosity and courage, made to last for a lifetime.

With a strong belief in co-operation and co-creation, every piece of furniture is created and curated in collaboration with visionary, skilled and kind people who share our love for beautiful, vibrant design, functionality and innovation. The close personal contact with all suppliers and clients makes it possible to offer highly flexible and customized material solutions. The majority of the furniture pieces are customizable with different colors and materials, offering a large versatility of design to different ambiences and interior design approaches.

Coat in white oiled ash is a minimalistic and expressive folding clothes-stand. It is made of six poles held by a metal ring. Conceived as a tribute to Danish simplicity and fun design. Coat is an easy-to-use playful object that enters immediately into a relationship with the user through its natural design expression. Coat can be hung with the notch facing inwards or outwards – as you prefer. At the same time, the coat hanger is easy to dismantle to store and to then unfold again to be placed wherever needed. Designed by Ulrik Nordentoft.

Coat in white oiled ash offers three different finishes to the rings that holds the poles. The polished aluminium or brass gives a more subtle look, while satin black creates a striking contrast. Coat is also available in black lacquered ash.
