The Salt Penguin is a Danish, registered design made of walnut and maple. It was first produced inmid-2006. The Salt Penguin is fitted with a Danish- patented Hulstrøm Salt Grinder. Functionality, the irreplaceable properties of salt and the cold Arctic Ocean were J. I. Christoffersen's source of inspiration when creating the Salt Penguin. 2016 saw the relaunch of the Salt Penguin in collaboration with Jens Ivan Christoffersen's family.

Care

The Pepper Bird is a Danish, pattern-protected quality pepper grinder in mahogany, ash, maple and walnut which was initially produced at the end of the 1950s. The Pepper Bird, which has been a dining table favourite with many guests over the years, uses the Danish-patented Tucan Pepper Grinder as its grinding mechanism. Sven Erik Tonn-Petersen’s idea for the Pepper Bird was to create a simple and recognisable everyday icon which was both functional and suitable for decorating any dining table. In 2015, the Pepper Bird was relaunched in partnership with Sven Erik Tonn-Petersen’s family.
